I have always thought you sounded like quite an intelligent person. I am

beginning to wonder if my first impression was somewhat mistaken. All

kidding aside, I wish you

the best, but be careful. It sounds like fun. I have never downhill skiid,

but used to cross-country. Even with the poles now, my balance isn't quite

good enough.

However, this June, I am going canoeing with a girlfriend to the Boundary

Waters Canoe Area. We will canoe across several lakes, portaging our gear

inbetween. About the only thing I cannot do is carry the canoe. I have not

done this in 8 years. We will see how it goes, but hey, you gotta

experience living with PLS, and do the

same things as before, right? We just have to alter our methods.

have a great time!

Mark,

The neuronal deterioration had already advanced when you agreed to take over

the Synapse from Joe Alberstadt. This just confirms it.

I read Zsolt's description of his ski adventure. It was hilarious and

heartwarming simultaneously. I imagine you will have similar feelingss about

your trip. Let us all know how you do.

Actually, I just reread your email and you should be there. Hope you have a

great week!
