Guest guest
, I know what you are talking about. I wish I could just stop working full time as my current career path is very stressful, but the stress of keeping up with the bills is also great. For now I continue to work and hope treatment makes up for the lack of control over the stress in my life. But I wonder how long I can manage. My house is what suffers and my ex husband is not at all understanding and criticises my house cleaning. Fact is I am anal about my house and it kills me that I have no energy left to devote to a more cleanly environment. I guess he is used to the time when we were together and he bragged that I had to have the house hospital clean. I raise three kids on my own as well. My doctor and I joked that that was a stress I could not get rid of legally. lol. And they are a stress as well. But a stress I wouldn't live without. I fear all this extra stress may cause a worsening of the symptoms, and I haven't started my treatments yet. I find out the options June 15th. Best to you . Hope you are able to find low stress employment. Holly --------------------------------- Bored stiff? Loosen up... Download and play hundreds of games for free on Yahoo! Games. Guest guest
thanks . I have started to take cod liver Oil with vitamins A and D and had the health store order Padma for me. I have also been reading up on the gluconutrients I have read about here in an attempt to try some natural boosts for my immune system. I will look into the archives and see what else I can learn --------------------------------- Ready for the edge of your seat? Check out tonight's top picks on Yahoo! TV. Guest guest
That would be nice. I haven't started any treatment other than the natural remedies. Your journal may help me determine what course to take in combatting this disease. I gotta buy myself at least 11 years if not more. I got 3 little ones that rely on me solely for their care and I don't want to leave them prematurely. --------------------------------- Get your own web address. Have a HUGE year through Yahoo! Guest guest
If you look at the history of drugs that treat chronic illness you will find way more harm comes then benefit. If MS symptoms are caused by mercury, candida, virus, over use of drugs, other environmental toxins like mold, bad backs, parsites and other things like this, then....how will any drug every help?? I think not only are drugs bad because they are toxic for our bodies but when a person takes them they sit and wait. This is not a good idea because the body will still be getting sick from the same reasons that caused the disease in the first place and now you have an added burden possible making things much worse. You have to realize that doctors can only give you information about drugs and have very limited or no information on alternative ways to help you. goinsolo4631 wrote: >But I have been told with all the new medications that those of us >just now being diagnosed have more hope for longer mobility. Guest guest
Holly, Try not to stress over the things like house work. THose things will not matter in 20 more years when your kids are grown and you wonder where did the time go. Making memories with your family will matter much more then dusting the corners. Tell your ex if he wants your house clean that you are more then willing to leave out the cleaning supplies for him any time! Holly Kennedy wrote: >, > >I know what you are talking about. Guest guest
Hi Holly, If you are interested to know more about Glyconutrients I can help you if you want. I have been taking them for 4 years and have helped several people on the forum. Glyconutrients make a wonderful foundation for any good wellness program, add antioxidants, phytonutrients, hormonal support, essential fatty acids, enzymes, pro-biotics, and you are off to a good start. Then you have to revamp your diet, exercise, get sunshine, get body work, do cleanses several times per year and also maybe some food allergy testing. It seems like alot but since are foods are so lacking and the environment is so bad we have to work extra hard these days to stay healthy. Here is link to my website. www.mannapages.com/morningsun for info on products I take Holly Kennedy wrote: >thanks . Guest guest
My mom, who is very neat, always uses the expression, " dust keeps " when she doesn't have time to clean. If you can't get to it today, it will still be fresh tomorrow. I say that the dust is a souvenir of New Mexico when it's in the store. My grandmother got new glasses when she was pretty old. When she did, she could see the spider webs in the corners of her house she never knew were there. We always knew, loved her anyway and loved to visit her. When I think of her, spiderwebs rarely come to mind. " Kindscher (Charter) " wrote: Holly, Try not to stress over the things like house work. Guest guest
Yes that is true, I definately agree that with infectious type illness drugs have their place and are highly effective. But would it not be best to use prevention and never get an infection? I used to get infections on average every 4-6 weeks, doctors were great to give me the drugs to cure these infections, when that was I all knew I was grateful to drugs.Yes the infection would go away but the long term price is something that I will probably pay forever. Since I have pulled away from allopathic medicine I have learned how to support my body in a way that I no longer get these infections. If I every do get sick enough that I cannot fight it then I know that drugs are available. For chronic illness it does not make sense to add more toxins when sometimes its an overload of toxins that has put us into the mess. If poor diet has caused an illness how can taking a pill and continuing in our poor lifestyle choices help us? If we are depressed because we live in a bad relationship, hate our job, kids are out of control, and we eat poorly, how can a pill per day help that? Our poor organs are so overworked that if we just cleaned them the same way we would clean our clogged drain we would have much better health. Our bodies scream out its warnings every day, " help me, cleanse me, feed me! " and we just shut it up by taking a simple little pill. This is no different then turning off the smoke alarm and going back to bed without checking the house for a fire, this is what we call " health care " . alrightguy123 wrote: >Excellent point.
