Guest guest Posted January 22, 2009 Report Share Posted January 22, 2009 I lost a lot of muscle from the high T3 because of the high SHBG. Have been on all T3 for a year. As I mentioned in an earlier post my T was getting bound up. It was more of a collateral damage sort of thing. Might be worth it for those on high T3 doses to get an SHBG/T check. Both estrogen and T3 raise SHBG. T lowers it. Get a "free T".AGI happened upon some posts in a a body building web site stating that in the absence of enough protein, t3 will cause you to lose muscle mass. Can anyone shed light on this for me?
