Guest guest
I was checking carbs on all the different nuts. Netzer's guide and others give in wt. (oz.) Can anyone tell me approx. how much of a " cup " this would be so I don't have to go out and buy a food scale? Do all of you have a food scale? Thanks! Guest guest
, Nuts vary in density, so 1 ounce of one kind of nut will be a different volume than 1 ounce of another kind of nut. Sorry to be so unhelpful. However, a digital food scale would be a wonderful investment. I think I got mine for a bout $30 from QVC several years ago. It will weigh in either grams or ounces, and will weigh as small as 1/4 ounce and as much as 3 pounds. I love mine and use it often. Guest guest
, The one I have was made by T-fal, and I got it at QVC five years ago. I don't think they carry them anymore. Mine didn't come with a bowl. If you get one from QVC, they have a 30 day unconditional return policy, so you could try it out for 30 days and then return it if you find it doesn't meet your needs. Guest guest
I purchased a food scale (not digital) for $5 at Meijer. It works ok, I mostly use it to dole my macadamia nuts out into 1 oz. portions.
