Hi its leisa. I dont have an amazon account, so I am waiting until this week when my son comes back to use his account. I thought Id get a used copy of the book for my self and show it to my doctor. Im not familiar with it at all. I was wondering if the author (Janie) has sent a copy to Oprah?

also, if id like acess to the ardenal forum..do I have to be a member?

I think that Oprah must a mountain of copies. Oh, yes she has a copy but did she read it or did it get filed in the circular filing cabinet (garbage for those who don't know what that is). You can sign up to read online only (meaning not receiving any emails).

What you can do when you join is to set the group settings for NO MAIL

or DIGEST and then you cn access the archives as much or little as you

want to. The digest mode you would still get the emails just in digests

containing 25 or so emails at once, but no mail is just htat, read at

the website only.

Val..how long were you on hc before you weaned off. the questions page seems to say that its not realistic to expect that. but dod you think one can at least wean back to isocort?

Leisa, please remember to start a new thread or maybe your answer won't get noticed. If Val doesn't check a thread called Review Janies Book you might be out of luck with an answer.She was on HC for 3.5 years (I believe) tried it once before with not great success. She has said she didn't stress dose during the first weaning time and that crashed adrenals again. This time she is stress dosing and was able to move to Armour.

Again, if you want to ask further on this please start a new thread. ;>). Thanks.
