Janet,

The " lumps " are a good sign, that means his head is rounding out.

Enjoy your cupcakes.

Janet, the lumpiness your seeing is his head is rounding! Keep up

the good repo work and March 3rd is just a few weeks away. Snuggle

and kiss his noggin all you can (just in case you do band him).

Such a warm welcome, thank you everyone. You guys will prove to be a great

asset. I am going crazy waiting for our appointment on the 3rd of March.

It was difficult to find a doctor here in Louisville that would take our

insurance (UHC).

Currently we are trying to be aggressive about positioning but it is NOT

easy!! I have made wedges, a sock, rolls made of rec. blankets filled with

rice- but he just wiggles away from them and I find him on that darn side he

shouldn't be on!! At night I have a video monitor, so I am up frequently to

repo him. Now I am noticing some lumpy areas on the flat side of his head,

what on earth is that?

Thank you so much for being so warm in welcoming me. I am very emotional

today (yesterday was a LOT worse-I am so glad that I found this site). This

little guy has just been through so much (however, I know it can or could be

worse-I am being selfish today). But as it was stated in some of the other

posts...it is harder on us than it is the babies.

Today, I am coping with my increased anxiety by baking a batch of cupcakes!!
