Guest guest
I dont know how to do bp...but I felt that I was sleepy tired more than wired tired...so I fugured that was more low t3...does that sound right? Or at least that I had enough cortisol to handle the current t3...SO I decided to add an extra t3 12.5.....total of 50mcg a day Subject: Re: Re: Diagnose me please? Guest guest
Thanks Val Could you please comment on my thyroid blood results? Do they indicate anything? My BP is usually quite low (106/65 last time) so maybe it is more my adrenals. Guest guest
Free T4 – no meds 13.5 with meds 12.8 (9.0-19.0) Free T3 – no meds 3.7 with meds 3.9 (2.5-6.0) Seems th meds got your converions working a bit better, but you wer and are stil quite hypothyroid. I look for a FT4 in mid-range with your ranges it should be about 14 and FT3 near the top of ti's range ot slightyl over so you would need 5.5-6.5 for good levels. Comparing these to many labs I have seen it looks liek high RT3 labs due to the T3 being SO much lower than the T4this shows very poor converiosn and proabbyl converting to more Rt3 than T3. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

High homocysteine indicates a B12 deficiency, and taking B12 will lower the homocysteine. But that test isn't always enough -- often the " methylmalonic acid " test is also required, or the B12 deficiency will be overlooked. A normal " serum B12 " is frequently wrong, because the body can't use the B12 due to faulty absorption or metabolic errors. Guest guest
Thank you Val so much for that info. As I said I have ordered the test kit for the RT3 and will get it done at the same time as the TSH, T4, & T3. Are there any other tests I should have done at the same time to help with a diagnoses and/or treatment protocol? Should I push to have my whole thyroid dose increased in the mean time or should I wait for all these results to happen first? Bearing in mind I want to feel as well as possible as soon as possible. Really just holding my head above water at this stage. Thanks Jane And thanks every one else for your help and advice. > > Free T4 – no meds 13.5 with meds 12.8 (9.0-19.0) > Free T3 – no meds 3.7 with meds 3.9 (2.5-6.0) > > Seems th meds got your converions working a bit better, but you wer and > are stil quite hypothyroid.
