Not only the Lancet article, but now his study on primates showing what thimerosal does to them (the same as it has done to our children) is being retracted. It is outrageous and unfair, and shows the degree the pharmaceutical companies have power in the medical world. Their goal of earning maximum profits making toxic poorly tested vaccines, touting invisible epidemics requiring everyone to get unnecessary vaccines, and push to have everyone chronically ill all their lives with 7-10 prescription drugs seems to be winning out. I found out the petition can still be signed, and we have 891 signatures so far. I've been promised that if we get to our goal of 1000 a way will be found in the UK to have it hand delivered to the GMC, hopefully with a reporter around! Brief summary: Dr. J. Wakefield's findings of gastrointestinal pathologies in a subgroup of children with autism are very important. His persecution by the GMC is akin to the persecution of Semmelweis.
