Re: First flush -- feeling great

This should have given some idea of why most of the flushes are planned for the

weekend. And why either the Epsom Salts or other bowel flushing agents are used

to clear the bowels and provide greater elasticity to the bile ducts. However,

the end results are often well worth the effort.

I like to setup for doing the flush on a Friday night. I put together 24 ounces

of water with 3 tablespoons full of Epsom Salts around an hour or more before

taking the first 6 ounce dose of the mix at 18:00 or 6:00 PM, this helps the

Epsom Salts start to be absorbed by the water, heated water does the best and by

the end of an hour it's cooled quite a bit. The remaining mix is taken at 20:00

or 8:00 PM and then in the morning, two hours apart from the first morning dose,

I sometimes actually sleep past the idea regimented time of 06:00. The stones,

should there actually be any, usually show with the first movement around 07:00

to 09:00. The last flush I did, a number of months back, only produced very

small stones, and especially when compared to some of the earlier stones I got

out as can be noted as posted by Agnes on the CureZone site and the Gallstone

group's files. I, like Ken, have been enjoying the greatest of benefits of

having applied what we learned about keeping the need for flushing to a minimum.

I take for my two-hundred pound body around eight ounces of the purest cold

pressed virgin olive oil I can buy without having to take out a loan at the

bank, and mix that with eight ounces of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice to take

at 22:00 or 10:00 PM and then lay on my right side and try to get to sleep. That

usually doesn't happen as it's wished because there may be some extra trips to

the throne before I can finally get to sleep. Plus I usually live on six to

seven hours of sleep a night anyway. I do, on occasion try taking Ornathine too

but I haven't noticed it helping me to get to sleep any faster or to stay asleep

any better than what I already do.

One other thing I tend to do too is to do a mini fast for two to three days

before a flush. I usually just drink the best fresh squeezed apple juice I can

find for that time period. It can get to be pretty tough considering I'm in

construction and need the higher energy levels that complex carbohydrates can

deliver over the extended run of a work day. However, it seems to get easier

with the passing of the first days hunger pains as long as I up my energy in the

short term over the few days of the fasting before the flush.

I don't recommend the fasting process for everyone as some people may be dealing

with various other things such as a very toxic body or candida albicans. Then

too, the body fat may also be containing excessive amount of toxins and that

will start to be released when the fast takes energy from those adipose cells.

This often leads to a greater amount of malaise or joint pains along with a

general feeling of discomfort besides the fasting discomfort. Fasting is

something with which one must learn to understand its actions before proceeding

with it. That is why most of the time it is recommended that one do so under a

doctor's care. Hey, they know more than you do about all this, right?

Flushing has been very, very, good for me along with a practice of avoiding all

saturated fats and hydrogenated fats. I am going on two years of no gallbladder

or liver attacks and I attribute this to Dr. Cabot's work by way of her book

" The Liver Cleansing Diet " . I've been applying the information I learned from

her book and have not had one " attack " even though I have had brushes with

discomfort when I stray from what I know I'm suppose to be doing. Old habits die

hard and it's really tough to give up all the creature comforts with which we

become accustom while destroying ourselves or being destroyed by the commercial

elements of this system of things.
