Guest guest
Hello, I've been reading since August, and this is my first post: My integrative doc rx'ed LDN at my appt this week - 2mg dose. It had been on my list to discuss with her after reading the book and postings here, but I just never got around to it. I guess I should feel lucky (?)! I signed an off-label drug use waiver acknowledgement. 1: I'm nervous! What can I expect? The pharmacist at Irmat was kind, and my doc was a bit vague. 2: I have a lot of other docs that I am dealing with right now (hematologist, neurologist, cardiologist) who are not integrative docs. I've already had one sideways look, and am not sure how to even explain this to them! Any support here would be helpful. I do trust my own doc completely, and certainly need to research further, but what's your " elevator speech " re: LDN? What study is most useful to show someone or to tell someone seeking clinical data? I've been to http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/ and of course read the chapter in CSB.
