, You should know that starches and sugars are composed of glucose

molecules, they are quickly released by digestion, that is why we don't

overindulge in them, but you do what you want. Sam

The problem is that neither position can be actually proven, Don, in

my opinion, certainly not in e-mails nor do I even want to prove

anybody wrong or " debunk " anything. I just want to ensure that both

sides of the discussion get expressed.

Unfortunately, merely putting forward reasoning for the other side of

the story is considered to be argumentative, but I don't see why.

In the past, I have posted references to peer-reviewed study reports

in English to support all my views. I would like you to tell me what

more I can do.

I agree with your implied preference for objective postings. My

experience to date has been that objective reasoning in favor of the

nutritional plan that I favor has been met with subjective criticism

and even abuse but I will try again, provided I am allowed to post.

I agree with Dave, both you, Susie, and are on the far ends of the

spectrum, which leaves plenty of room in the middle for variation! I know

with both attitudes and ideas IF you each tone down the rhetoric!

Sorry, I disagree. provokes thinking. Your way is damn well not

the right way, or the only way. It works for you, and others also, but

for many it doesn't, either due to their physical makeup or willingness

to live your low carb way. My Mom is 89, is not *fat*, and does not do

low carb, and has been a T2 for many years. No complications. She lives

alone. Low carb is great for those who want to endure it and for those

whom it works.

I actually am a bit pissed that you would do such a thing Susie, in

writing privately to and telling him to take a hike. You don't

have that power.

You say many leave the group because of the tension creates;

unfounded. Prove it.. let's have a poll. How many have left due to

?

This group is about interaction, different ways that people work their

regimen, and families do squabble.

I feel that you are again attempting a low carb takeover, and I, for

one, will not go along with that.

Wow, at the far end of the spectrum, ? That makes me feel very

uncomfortable! Make some place free for me, I am going to start

moving back to the middle again - it's too lonely out here!

Yeah, I got that message already and am going to give it a try, I

have never been able to match Susie's rhetoric anyway! Thanks for the

insight, , let me know immediately if I don't shape up.

Hehehe! Yup, it gets lonely at the end of your rope!

I just think everyone can converse in a more adult fashion, and agree to

disagree! :)
