Guest guest
If I were you I'd get further check ups on your condition. You shouldn't feel bad pain for hours after an ultrasound. Also, a flush should have released some kind of sludge or stones from your liver area even if not from your gallbladder area. 3cm is a serious size condition. The 1 cm stone in my GB shows up white on ultrasound. I would get specialist check-up to make sure it isn't something more serious like a tumor. If the pain is spreading to other areas and is effecting the lungs, this should really be checked out thoroughly even though you want to continue to try and cleanse yourself. Does anyone else feel the same way? Sounds serious enough to really get everything checked properly. Barry. > I had an ultra sound in April. Guest guest
Hi, I agree with Barry's post that something else may be going on besides pain from gallstones, although it's hard to tell without more info. GB pain is usually experienced within 1/2 hour after eating, and lasts for several hours, in non-acute type situations. The pain, in my case, was centrally located just beneath the " V " that your ribs make-called the epigastric area. Other people experience the pain more to the right side with pain radiating around to the back. I also experienced a swollen type feeling below my right rib cage, couldn't tolerate any pressure to that area, and also could not tolerate the eating of any kind of fat or protein without excruciating pain. Also experienced a lot of gas and uncomfortable feelings in the bowel. Ultrasound is not always successful in detecting stones.
