Guest guest
I dont have too many details, other than it's been available in Canada for about a year and is now the first drug of choice according the diabetic genius at the hospital. It's often given to newly dx'd folks first, to see how they do on it. You take it when you eat, whether it's a meal or a snack. Sounds like you could end up taking several a day if you are a snacker. It works with the available insulin to make it work more efficiently, it's not like glyburide that squeezes your pancreas to spit out more. It's short acting, I guess that's why you take it when you plan to eat. That's all I know, I dont know any other name for it. Perhaps an internet search would help us! Elva What kind of pill is Gluco Norm, Elva? It's always a hassle trying to translate all the wacky names they come up with in the various countries.
