Guest guest
Hi : This is extremely unusual for CT to allow more than 2 wks between cast & fit esp w/a young 6 mos old like na. Please let us know when they say it'll be rec'd.. I'm sorry for the delay I can understand being anxious here!! Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad > I need to vent. Guest guest
WHOA!!! I understand your frustration of waiting and just thinking of another casting. That would totally suck!! Let us know when they are expecting it to come in. Also wanted to let you know that my daughter began treatment at 8.5 months was casted 4 times and it was extremely painful for me to endure, but she is no more the wiser that even happened. Keep calling them until you can find out exactly where and when your band is coming in. Dustie > I need to vent. We just got a call that na's band has not > arrived. Guest guest
Boy ! I'm not sure what to say. My guess is that they fell behind because of Thanksgiving. I guess you'll just have to wait for the new band to come in and see how it fits. If it doesn't fit well because of the time between fitting and casting then I wouldn't think you would be responsible for paying for another band. Keep us posted, Natasha > I need to vent. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I just spoke to Michele in Charlotte. There were a couple of factors. Manufacturing is having problems of some sort and then add the holiday delay. They are having problems with a lot of bands right now. They actually said they are not guaranteeing any bands to be back in 14 days. Then to top it off the Fed Ex plane was late this morning and they had to go pick up the bands at the airport for this afternoon's appointments. They were supposed to have been delivered by 10:30 AM. So, this is why they didn't call us until after noon. Ok, so, na's band is supposed to be on it's way per corporate. They expect it by 10:30 AM tommorrow morning. She will be fit at 4 PM. They are going to call DH immediately when they have it in their hands. told me if she wasn't happy with the fit or if she grew out of it too fast due to the delay and missed growth we would start over (be re-cast) at no penalty to us. I assume that means CT would pick up the cost. This is really hard since I am in Atlanta and not home. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. & na (Still waiting) > Hi : > This is extremely unusual for CT to allow more than 2 wks between > cast & fit esp w/a young 6 mos old like na. Guest guest
, It stinks but it sounds like they are trying to do their best to make it right. Too bad you can't come over for a vent session at my house right now! Where are you at in Atlanta? Natasha > > > I need to vent. We just got a call that na's band has not > > > arrived.
