Guest guest
Lavon. I have a walker just like Sue's only mine is blue. I love it! It turns in a small area, too. I don't know how tall you are, how much you weigh or how strong you are and perhaps you would like a heavier one, but for a 118 lb. heavyweight, it's perfect. In case you'd like to try it out, I'll be in CT and you are certainly welcome to give mine a once over. Guest guest
Lavon, Sorry for my previous E-mail. I got behind in reading my digests, answered your first E-mail and then eventually got caught up to the last E-mail and find that my walker wouldn't be acceptable. I'm glad to see you are getting a lot of responses, better than mine, and hope you find just the right one for you. See you in CT, with the hideous walker? Guest guest
Interesting concept! Thanks Lavon. I think I'd prefer the braking system on my walker which almost requires no conscious effort to utilise. Guest guest
Hi Sandrine, Welcome to induction and this group! I would say not to worry about taking the medication and ketosis. If the meds prevent ketosis, so be it, you need them so take them. There are lots of folks who have had to do the same thing and I'm sure they will be able to offer lots of suggestions for soft foods to eat at that time too. As to the fat fast, you should not do this just to get induction going. That is not what the fat fast was designed to do. If you find the induction challenging for ideas of what to eat, click on the link below for the turtle menus or plan and just follow that for two weeks. The fat fast is designed for people with extreme metabolic resistance who cannot lose on induction levels. It is not meant to be followed unless you are not losing any weight or inches after two weeks of induction. If you can lose on regular induction, why would you want to restrict yourself to the " fall back " plan? Then you would have nothing else to try if you get stalled. By the way, if you have not already taken your measurements, do so right away. Take the normal measurements and some not so normal measurements, like in the arms, the calves, etc. Most people start losing pounds right away, others only lose inches at first, and sometimes in kind of strange places. So you want to be able to have that confirmation that what you are doing is working. Jean 190/137.5/130 12/7/
Guest guest
Sandrine, I just had ALL of my teeth extracted about 6 weeks ago. I was on painkillers, antibiotics and cortisone. I never test for keotis but I still lost 2 pounds that week. Good Luck with your surgery....I survived mine. Margie 282/212/139 since 2/21/00 > I just started Induction today and so far so good. Guest guest
I do not know how experience in med recs or as a receptionist will help all that much. Have you looked into maybe a service that provides a mentoring program. Also, Jay Vance from AAMTG is putting together a project where new MTs will get hands on experience and be edited by a team of mentors. Maybe this is something that could work for you. Guest guest
I think that is a great idea. If you will be doing filing or answering phones, you can learn a lot. Just by looking at the reports as you file them will help. I used to work as an MA and trust me that definitely helped a lot! If you work as a receptionist, you will get familiar w/ scheduling tests, taking messages........which in turn will get you familiar w/ medical terms, tests, drugs, etc. I say go for it! Guest guest
Hi, Thank you all for your responses in regards to my question about food allergy/sensitivity tests. I have one more question completely unrelated.....has anyone tried Jon Barron's products (Baseline of Health)? Was wondering if they are effective/good products. I see on the website there is a 60-day moneyback guarantee. Thanks! Robyn
Guest guest
, If you seek to have a solid erection, ask your urologist to describe then prescribe injections to the penis with papavarine, bimix, or trimix. He should also have at his practice the product and injection material to administer and show you how to administer the product to yourself. Take a sweater or light jacket along, since you will walk out of the office with a developing erection, so, unless you want to show it off (grin), you might want to hide it while you get to the car. And, you might have your partner on hand for when you get home to make use of it! (another grin). It sounds scary, but is easy to perform and works for most all men. The following website provides use, safeguards, and " what to do in emergencies " information regarding the use of Papaverine/bimix/trimix injections. http://www.infertility-male.com/erectdys/injxn1.htm Chuck > > Hi to all, sorry for my broken english, I have a question, I had my > prostate removed 9 months ago do to prostate cancer, here in Miami, > FL, I am 46 years old, to have sex I am using the vacum device with > the rubberband onto the base of the penis, it is not the same, but is > better than nothing, recently I have noted that when I get some sexual > estimulation my penis kinda " react " I do no have what can be called and > erection, BUT, it does increase in size and get little more hard, not > enough for a vaginal penetration, but I am being able to masturbate > more pleasurable, My question is: This means I will get my erection > back ? or happens to somebody else on my same situation ? > Any answer will be appreciated, my doctor told me could take more than > 18 month to reach and erection, I have tried Viagra and Cialis and all > I get is discomfort in my head, but not erections. > Thanks to all for this amazing group. >
Guest guest
I'm about 6 weeks out from surgery, and have a similar response (haven't graduated to the pump yet). I HOPE this means that I'll eventually get some " real " erections back...but I don't know yet. I'll let you know if I find out! --Steve > > Hi to all, sorry for my broken english, I have a question, I had my > prostate removed 9 months ago do to prostate cancer, here in Miami, > FL, I am 46 years old, to have sex I am using the vacum device with > the rubberband onto the base of the penis, it is not the same, but is > better than nothing, recently I have noted that when I get some sexual > estimulation my penis kinda " react " I do no have what can be called and > erection, BUT, it does increase in size and get little more hard, not > enough for a vaginal penetration, but I am being able to masturbate > more pleasurable, My question is: This means I will get my erection > back ? or happens to somebody else on my same situation ? > Any answer will be appreciated, my doctor told me could take more than > 18 month to reach and erection, I have tried Viagra and Cialis and all > I get is discomfort in my head, but not erections. > Thanks to all for this amazing group. >
