Iam > concidering trying.. > I have tried Noni, but not the juice. As someone already mentioned, the juice is full of sugar. It is duluted with other juices to make it taste good (Noni by itself is pretty nasty) and it is pasteurized, which destroys the enzymes, and other nutrients that are destroyed by heat. I use the freeze dried Noni fruit in a capsule. WOW, it is incredible. It is 100% Noni, no other fruit juices, it is not heat processed, and it comes from Hawaii. Noni coming in from any other country has to be fumagated, or irradiated. Do you want to use a product that has those contaminants? I am allergic to mice, I had an alergic reaction one time while visiting a friend out of state, and I didn't have any benedryl, what I usually take. My throat started to swell, and I was coughing and coughing. It never swells closed, so I thought I would just wait it out. It just got worse, coughing more, and more. Then I remembered my Noni. I took 2 capsules. Within 1/2 an hour, my symptoms were almost gone. I have Lichen Planus, an autoimmune disorder, causes sores and inflamation in the mouth. For a while it was just benign thickening of the skin inside my lips, and cheeks. Then, after a dental visit for cleaning, it became inflammed, and quite painful. It was hard to enjoy all those Christmas treats with a sore mouth. I had it biopsied, and my doctor gave me the diagnoses, and a prescription of steroid gel. I HATE steroids, so I never filled the prescription. I tried the Noni, since I already know that it helped with the swelling in my throat, and it could help with the inflammation in my mouth. Took 2 capsules before going to bed, and the next morning, my lichen planus was not painful. It was still there, but at least it didn't hurt. As soon as I was diagnosed with MS, and realized that it was an inflamatory disease, I started taking Noni again, along with another natural anti-inflammatory freeze dried supplement. Shortly after, I noticed that I didn't feel as much fatigue that I had been feeling. I love the Noni capsules. It is a bit expensive, but it is so worth if it is something that will help your body. Hope this helps, Cara
Guest guest
I drink 2 ounces of Noni juice a day. It has helped in the past when I was coming down with a cold. I buy it at Costco's for $13 a bottle. It is supposed to boost your immune system. I didn't know it came in capsules. I don't mind the taste at all. If you go to googloe and type in Noni there is a lot of info on it. Guest guest
Hi Cara, Here is a place where you can obtain Noni capsules at a discount: http://tinyurl.com/p7enm All the best, Dudley Delany http://profiles.yahoo.com/dudley_delany
Guest guest
Thanks Dudley, I already use a Noni brand that I trust, I know that it is harvested at the peak of perfection, not under or over ripe, and I know that it is organically grown, so there is no danger of any chemical pesticide contamination. It is worth it to me to pay a bit more to ensure the best quality products for my health. The brand that I use also has the herb, Ashwaganda, which has many known benefits for the central nervous system.
