Guest guest
I know we have been contacting by email but we also went through this same feeling you have here. I had read a lot of feedback that 6 months might be too late to start a passive helmet from this web board. WE went with the helmet and started it and said we would give it the three months. if as the three months were coming near we weren't happy we would contact the doc clinic in ohio. Granted that starts your son at like a year in another band or helmet but I have read on here of people getting correction then. Like you we were afriad to try the passive, but have had nothing but good results. I have a friends whose child has worn two danmar helmets and she's 13 month old and just finished with a fine looking round head. HEr daughter wore it for 6 months but she also had tort and her's was more severe. Just a thought!! > Thanks for your ideas..I have contacted some Danmar graduates/moms by email > and there are some children with very good outcomes and others who had less > correction. Their babies were generally 6mos and younger. I guess my > question would be...will it be worth it to switch at this point (new helmet > may not be covered by insurance and we will be starting later).
