Guest guest Posted November 17, 2000 Report Share Posted November 17, 2000 here's a similar recipe for the craft.......HTH :^) Grace ( have no idea how many it makes) Christmas Cinnamon Ornament Craft Materials 1 c Applesauce 1 oz Cinnamon 1 oz Grd. cloves 1 oz Grd. nutmeg 1 oz Grd. ginger Cinnamon for cutting board Combine ingredients to make a stiff dough. Roll out on board dusted with ground cinnamon. Cut with cookie cutters of your choice. Put hole in top for string. Lay out flat to dry. Turn over every 12 hours until completely dry. But please, someone explain how 1 Cup of applesauce and 4 ounces of spices is going to make a stiff dough? I think this is very similar, as I said, but I don't think that would make stiff dough, it might make dough, but not stiff. I have made apples and oranges studded with cloves, then covered in spices until they shrivel up and get hard. I love that recipe...but can't find where I put it.
