Did the nsg take out too much in the first place? Is this something that should be able to be avoided or is there a chance that anyone with the surgery could have this happen? Does this mean only so much can be removed (thereby limiting the potential success level of decompression) since muscle (if Kathy understood her doc correctly) is going to cause some compression regardless? Guest guest
Thank you for the concern, Lily. The dr. appt. went real well. I really liked her. However, she is an emergency room dr. and was just filling in. She put me on neurontin which is also used to treat epilepsy. The darvoset for pain doesn't seem to help much but I need to give it time. I was having side effects from the other drug. The dr. said no ear infection and my hearing would probably come back in a few days. I can already hear an improvement. It can also cause hallucinations in some people. I just had problems with that at night when I was outside. That has totally cleared up. The pain is somewhat milder, thank goodness. However, my walking is like that of a drunk. The doc said if I had any more problems it was time for a neurologist and I definatly agree. My blood sugars have stayed steady at the 100's through all this. Usually when I get sick they soar. Neuropathy is a very intense reason to keep blood sugars under control. Again, thank you and I'll keep you updated. Hopefully, with good news. Take care and Merry Christmas. Guest guest
I talked to Dr. L this morning. He doesn't thing the doctor can tell me i'm ok when there is only dead sperm. He thinks either my hubby is producing dead sperm and there is no hope of ever having children or there is a problem with my mucus. He's baffled because 6 months ago I was pregnant and nothing seemed to be wrong with either one of us and now there is. I won't know much more until my hubby's sperm test next week. Just pray for me. I thought we were in the clear and God was giving us a break but I guess not. > >Reply-To: TubalLigationReversal >To: TubalLigationReversal >Subject: Re: Misty >Date: Tue, 5 Feb 2002 14:26:15 -0800 (PST) > >Hang in there hon, I'm sure Dr. L will get to you real >soon and explain his findings....keep us posted and >don't give up hope! > > > >===== >ME! 37 >DH 34 >DD 15 >DD 7 >TL 11/95 >TR summer 2002! > >__________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
Misty, I can hear and feel the pain in your words. Please don't feel that it is God's plan for you to be sad, or angry with Him for this medical dilemna. I know you are probably sick of hearing " hang in there " " it will get better " etc. When in fact, none of us know what the future holds, or why things do or don't happen the way we WANT them to happen. I do worry about you! Please remember that no matter what happens, we care about you! Hugs, in MI Re: Misty > >Date: Tue, 5 Feb 2002 14:26:15 -0800 (PST) > > > >Hang in there hon, I'm sure Dr. L will get to you real > >soon and explain his findings....keep us posted and > >don't give up hope! > > > > > > > >===== > >ME! 37 > >DH 34 > >DD 15 > >DD 7 > >TL 11/95 > >TR summer 2002! > > > >__________________________________________________ > >
