Hi & welcome!

Your son is at a great younger age to recognize both the tort &

plagio. Early recognition of both will help correct both problems

sooner rather than later and most likely get better correction.

It is VERY VERY difficult to reposition a torticollis baby off of

their flat side, it's difficult enuf to repo a non-tort baby, let

alone one with tort.

I would call your peds office and ask for a Phys Therapy referral,

maybe they'd go ahead & give you a referral over the phone? If not,

then if you'd feel more comfortable seeing your Dr before 3/2, then

ask for an earlier appt.

You can get more torticollis info at this link:

http://www.torticolliskids.org

More plagio info at http://www.plagiocephaly.org/support

We have a couple other members in Oklahoma in our group. I've added

OK to your subject line to grab those members attn to help you out

locally if possible.

There is a Bill Barringer orthotist in our DATABASE Helmet/Band

providers under Oklahoma who several gropu members have used for

their baby's STARband to correct the plagio.. I've only heard great

reviews about him & hear he's terrific. So, if the time comes where

you do need or want a helmet for your baby, hopefully you'll be close

enuf to Bill Barringer's office for treatment!

Best of luck -Keep us posted.
