It depends in your age, weight and phywsical condition. Older, heavier and poorer the condition, the higher the heart rate that os actually normal for us. I had over 100 for qwuite a few yeras, btu now I seem to be feeling unhypo with a lower heart rate, and I KNOW I am not in better condition, so it is all relative.-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/------------------------------------
Guest guest
IMHO we need to stop worrying about what she or her hired hands are saying about this. If the public had a brain and wouldn't be following her blindly and EVERYTHING and do a little research they could also change their lives the way we are doing it. She's making us all crazy. I have purposefully avoiding seeing anything to do with her and her spiritual thyroid problems just because I don't want it sinking into my brain. Guest guest
but sometimes I feel sorry for my self, and kinda victom-y...like I havent handled it right or whatever, but now I do realize that even if your powerful and rich you still get crappy docs. SO maybe it should make me feel okay, like its not just me. that I wasnt strong enough.. Guest guest
Oh, Leisa....I hope you don't feel it's because your not strong enough. Look how strong you are by being here, knowing what to ask from from your doctor and knowing that it CAN be done. I blame no one other than my idiotic doctors and no one else should either. We will get better in spite of them. but sometimes I feel sorry for my self, and kinda victom-y...like I havent handled it right or whatever, but now I do realize that even if your powerful and rich you still get crappy docs. Guest guest
there is time for suffering, time for realisation of truth time for relief and cure. i guess she is at time of suffering nowadays. it also took me many years to reach to this level of understanding. i am thinking hypoT and/or hypo A tends to make people more inflexible. That is the case for me,too.. it is difficult for me to accept new approaches. bw nil Re: Re: not getting anywhereTo: RT3_T3 Date: Wednesday, January 7, 2009, 1:48 PM Most doctors prefer under 80 for a heart rate. Guest guest
This site has made me feel more confidant. I had figured out some of this by my self, but having the details and the other numbers behind me( of people), I really feel different. The way I spoke to that doctor the other day and also plan on speaking to my second option tomorrow was so wonderful. Befor either I was angry sounding...or scared, or begging...or pretending to not know anything..so they would think it was their idea. But Im done. Im so done pretending. Because this not only my idea now. I have documented people who are getting better with this. This is the most in control Ive felt for 5 yrs! Guest guest
Hi all,Feel you on the Oprah thing. The most annoying part is all the people in my life that want to help, and say how she weaned herself off meds. Well, one thing is true, if i had been on synthroid or heart meds for my palps, i would have weaned myself off too! I am pretty sure she feels better Hypo (and probably adrenal insufficent) than on those horrible meds.I just chose to wish her well, like all the others who don't want to listen when I talk about what I have learned. If they want to stay on Synthroid, anti-depressents, anti-anxiety, and all the other meds, who am I to tell them differently? There were some good points in her show that resonated for me:-I am greatful for my body and am learning to be gentle with it Even though this sucks...my body is doing its very best to try and take care of me through it.-This time in my life will pass and I am looking forward to the next 30 yrs of feeling well.-How you feel about a situation does affect its outcome. ( I think everyone on this site is empowered and their own health advocate).-I am greatful for Val and all of you that have helped me, along w/the STTM book.-As of this morning, I am greatful for Dr. Lowe, who shared more info in 2 hrs on the phone w/me, than any doc in 30 yrs of life...I highly recomend him if you are still struggling. He was brilliant today. As for Oprah, forgive her...she knows not what she speaks of.I will post more on the info I learned from Dr. Lowe. With grattitude,JenSent: Wednesday, January 07, 2009 8:39 PMTo: RT3_T3 Subject: Re: oprahThis site has made me feel more confidant. Guest guest
Jen, what did you learn from Lowe? How about the high HR, what did he say? So happy to read that you consulted with him. He's eloquent, kind, intelligent and knowledgeable. Such a good move you made here.AG-As of this morning, I am greatful for Dr. Lowe, who shared more info in 2 hrs on the phone w/me, than any doc in 30 yrs of life...I highly recomend him if you are still struggling.
