Guest guest Posted December 1, 2001 Report Share Posted December 1, 2001 I just talked to my mom and she said that my step-dad is resting, has already passed at least one stone and lots of chaff, and is feeling better than he has in weeks! I still can't believe he was willing to try this. He is willing to have the surgery if that becomes absolutely necessary, but was glad to try this as a preventive measure. He previously (years ago) had surgery to remove half his stomach and large intestines. So he is glad to be able to hold onto another organ if he can!! I'm just really excited that he is trying this and that they are telling their friends.
