Guest guest
After I was hit with my MS I now have no balance and use a walker all the time. I love to drive and was happy I was able to get hand controls on my truck. It is very easy to use. I just use my left hand to activate both the gas and brake. Have you ever considered getting hand controls on your car? Your driving trouble may go away with it. Here is my truck with the hand control. I looked your web page over and I love Youtube and I put this one together today, My exe brother inlaw died and my wife Judy and I put this together for the funeral and we showed it at the viewing last evening. Perhaps it is unconscious stress. I find driving at night difficult sometimes. Oncoming car lights seem too bright. This could be a matter of getting older as much as MS. I am trying to drive only short distances. For example, last Winter I simply refused to drive from San Fran to Lake Tahoe. I found a friend to drive and I helped pay for gas and such. I felt it would be too much stress driving a long distance in the mountains and in the snow. --Mr. Dana F.
