Guest guest Posted December 16, 2001 Report Share Posted December 16, 2001 What is the difference in a ultrasound of the gallbladder and a Heidascan. I have a lot of indigestion and pain in my right shoulder which I almost know is gallbladder problems but my ultrasound showed no stones. The lady told me that even though stones don't show up you can still have gallbladder issues. My doctor has now ordered this scan called a heidascan which is a Catscan with die I think but I dont know what this will show up verses the other scan. I did do the flush already which totally exhausted me but I passed a few stones one being almost 1 cm and really green inside. But my problem hasn't went away and if I eat the wrong foods my gallbladder dumps a lot of bile into my stomach which irritates my stomach.
