Guest guest
Dear , Getting an ultrasound can be requested from you at anytime. I went to a local radiologist office where I live and got it done in 10 minutes time. The cost for me was $30, but it could cost up to $100 in some areas I guess. Check the prices if the insurance won't cover it. It may be worth the cost for your own piece of mind. Guest guest
, The ultrasound I'm talking about is using a small handheld device that is moved around your body, much like when looking at an unborn child. Either ultrasound or full body x-ray, they both are x-rays. The medical center may charge more to the insurance company than what is the real price for the service. We in the 1st world know this all to well by watching our car insurance premiums go up, and doctor fees, etc. I will suggest again that you look in the yellow pages for a radiologist center and call and ask them what it would cost for just a simple scan of your gallbladder area. I was lucky to find one for only $35 a scan. Also this was only to look and not produce an x-ray copy of the screen. Call a few and find the best price and maybe you can check your gb with ultrasound more frequently. Colleges and med schools also have this equipment for teaching students and may be a cheaper way to go. Good luck. Barry. > Are you sure you're talking about an ultrasound and not an x-ray?
