Guest guest
Sorry, I don't understand the question. You started taking cytomel this morning, how much? From: low_carb_crystal <low_carb_crystal@ yahoo.com>Subject: Re: Does this sound like I'm on the right track? To: RT3_T3yahoogroups (DOT) comDate: Friday, January 9, 2009, 12:53 PM I started taking 12.5(morning) 12.5(noon). Then, I tried25mcg(morning) , 25mcg(noon). I feel bad after about 4 hours of eachdose. I decided to do 12.5, 12.5, 12.5, 12.5 yesterday--- it just madesense to me. Yeah, I dropped all armour and probably increased too fast but I needit. In a couple of days, I'm going to take 25mcg, 12.5mcg., 12.5mcg,12.5mcg.= 62.5mcg. and go from there. I know that I should stay at75mcg for a little while before raising. > > >> > > Hello-> > > > > > I dropped all armour(2 1/2 grains) 8 days ago for cytomel. Guest guest
val...I was allergic to the cytomel. what is straight t3? compounded is straight t3 with olive oil. Subject: Re: Re: Does this sound like I'm on the right track? To: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, January 9, 2009, 1:53 PM You actually may not feel anything from that dose at all. It si a lwo dose still. and Compounding T3 is very hard to maintain potency. SO dont hold your breath wating to feel it's effects, it may be veyr gradual btu if oyu feel nothign after working up to 50mcg then you have grounds to ask your doctor for straight T3.-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/------------------------------------
Guest guest
With compounde3d I do nto knwo as I never felt ANY effects from the compounded T3 I tried. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
OK thne pray that compounding pharmacy knwos what they are doing. Many do nto and the T3 loses potency. but if you feel hypo after 3 days on this dose, or temps lower, increase it and see if that helps, -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Thank you so much Val. Ill watch for that..but so far I think its working. I feel just the same way I did when I started that extra 5 mcg of cytomel. I feel alittle in my heart( not bad, just kinda waking up..thumping). also feel alittle wirey around the eyes...so it is working. My one concern is that I also feel already after just one dose that same neck crunching..(this had gotten so bad it was debilitating before for a yr) So I can only assume that its adrenal struggling...............my gosh, Im taking 9 isocort. Please everyone cross fingers that the doctor will let me do a small amout of hc..maybe 10mg. If she will not, then I would think that I wont be able to raise my doses of t3. Guest guest
I have always been able ot adjust T3 in 12.5mcg doses but some opthers are more sensitive ot it and need smaller adjusting doses. There is no way to tell how much oyu need but normal doses are 75-100mcg and sometimes more than thta is needed to ush through very reisstant popel thta have had resistance for a long time. Guest guest
these 12.5 feel the same as the 5 of cytomel..so Im good with the 12.5. What about getting some 25 mcgs, so that it would be cheaper? Maybe after Ive risen to the 75mcg amount. also val..what amount should i request for the 4 week mak and the 8 week mark. i need to be specific in what she calls in. its confusing, because this bottle of 60 12.5...is meant to last a month... but if I start adding(in a week?) 12.5 extra...then I cant figure out when ill run out and when she will need to order 90 12.5's and then120 12.5's. you see? Id rather that she decide on an amount and then preplan it..be cause it took 2 weeks to get the first bottle.
