Guest guest
Low Carber, Im on day 2 of stopping 2 1/2 gr armour and adding 25 mcg t3. I have very painful eyes and swollen feeling head..and remember you saying that. Trying to remember how long it took you to add another 12.5. And Im curious..How did your dr write the script. I mean does she write a new one each 2 weeks for a different amount? Also...do you have tropuble sleeping at night because of the t3? what is last time of your dose. Im tempted to raise soon..but I am not on any hc and have stressed adrenals. your situation seems to be close to mine ..so any info will be fabulous. thanks leisa Subject: Cytomel is expensiveTo: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, January 9, 2009, 9:47 PM Cytomel is $1.00/pill (25mcg). Guest guest
Well, right now I'm taking 12.5mcg 4x per day. With a pill cutter, anything is possible. It appears that buying higher potency pills are cheaper and you can just cut them. Guest guest
Hi Leisa- eye muscles hurt when hypoT. Insomnia , definitely yes for about 12 years. A lot of my insomnia was due to high adrenaline/low cortisol. I've been taking 12.5mcg. (8am, 12, 4, and 8pm) and my sleeping isn't any worse if that helps. I think I've slept a little better. Guest guest
Well, I take 6mg medrol which is equal to 30mg HC. I 've never been sure where exactly I need to be cortisol-wise. I've been taking an extra 2.5mgHC with each cytomel dose. I'm still experimenting and maybe 6mg medrol is all I need so I'll have to come off the extra. I have a hard time figuring out if some symptoms are thyroid or low cortisol. Some that I thought were low cortisol now appear to be low thyroid--heart pounding, eyes/teeth hurting simultaneously. I seem to be handling the cytomel really well, meaning no hyper-ness. Guest guest
Thats great! Only confirming for me more that I need some type of cortisol. This may be a very no-no question. But if my dr says no to hc.....Mexico is 4 hrs away. Guest guest
just went to wilsons website and read the dr e book. Its impossible to understand! But the one thing it did say was that swollen feeling head and puffy eyes is due to unstable thyroid....hmm. I thought they were due to low thyroid, and was hoping that theyed go away when I got high enough. He says that it goes away with stable levels and srt3...so Ill keep that in mind.
