Guest guest
Mina, Since Dr. A calls for either 3 cups of salad per day, or 2 cups of salad plus 2/3 cup of low carb cooked veggie, I'd say that the substitution for each cup of salad would be 2/3 cup of cooked low carb vegetable. Feel free to substitute something from the list of induction veggies if you'd like. Terry

Can I substitute for the salads with approved cooked > veggies? I was thinking maybe having 1 cup with lunch and dinner > (something different so I get two vegetables per day). I am eating dinner as I type....smell the steak? I'm not much on salad either. I love veggies. I had Portobello mushrooms and turnips for lunch and I have a mushroom/turnip/garlic/ spaghetti squash mix with dinner. Probably a cup all together. Spaghetti squash can be a problem cause I like to eat to much of it. I mix it with other veggies and do not have seconds. I love turnips raw with salt and pepper and some sliced cheddar or mozzarella for a snack. 240/194/

Guest guest
Where do you find kohlrabi? I love it but can't find it anywhere except my garden in the summer. Guest guest
Beth, I'm in TX too, I'd like to have a copy of your spread sheet. Sounds like you've done some work getting it all together. Thanks, Lou
