Are you sure you're talking about an ultrasound and not an x-ray? I checked

the insurance papers when they came through and the cost was $700.00! If

I could get it done for $30.00 then I would definitely do it and I agree it

would be worth the cost. But $700.00 - that's another story entirely! :)

Yes, that is the same thing I had done. The insurance company didn't pay the

full $700, no, but they did pay a great deal more than $35.00. I will take

your suggestion and call around and check prices. I would want a printout of

the scan, though, because that is how I would be able to see if there is a

difference. The report of the first scan just said " multiple " stones.

Well, multiple could be any number! I would really like to see with my own

eyes. Maybe that is what increased the cost, compared to what you had done.

At any rate, thank you again for the suggestion and I will see what I find

out. If it truly is possible to have an ultrasound done around here for a

cost that low, I would definitely do it.
