Guest guest Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 Val and all, I spent the entire day getting my doctor to agree to do an rT3 test, ferritin, full thyroid panel including free t3, aldesterone, vitamin D. . . .some others. I went about 3 times and waited. I finally got the lab orders. I plan to do the test tomorrow. He said that fasting was not necessary. I took 10 mcg of T3 this morning. I am taking hc. . . 10-10-5-5. . . do I need to stop the hc . . I just won't plan on taking t3 until after the test. I was about to eat some salty food as I was craving salty and thought better of it. Would it be better to take the test on Friday and go off the hc for a day. . .or lessen it. . . basically feel terrible all day tomorrow.
