I had a real good link but it won't let me connect to it. It is called Lump, Bumps and Holes - really good. in Paradise, if you're out there, maybe you still have the link?? I've tried searching for it but with no success. Tory ('s mom)
Guest guest
I have a large dimple in my spine, but I do also have spina bifida occulta,so I don't know if that helps you any. Whether the two are related, I don't really know. My SBO is at L4/5, if I remember correctly. I can look it up if you'd like?? I hope this helps somewhat! Guest guest
Kathleen and group, Here's a good link to information on spina bifida occulta. Sometimes info is hard to find on the occulta version only, but this has a whole page with the variations included. http://www.asbah.demon.co.uk/sbocc.html Most incidents of occulta can be found on a lumbar xray, so the MRI isn't necessary for the actual diagnosis. My brother-in-law had a son with spina bifida when he was around twenty years old, and then years later found out through an employment physical that he has the spina bifida occulta himself. My husband just recently requested an xray to rule this out due to family history and our daughter's spina bifida. With all of the talk about spina bifida occulta, I was wondering something : ) I have always had a dent in my lower spine, kind of a large dimple. I can put my thumb in it. Does everyone have this dimple. The boys are too old to ask, and Jeff just laughed at me!
