I requested my records from my neurologist and just got them a few days ago. I always keep copies of progress notes, reports, tests for my records. Since I am still on long term disability through my employer I need the records at hand because they ask for documentation and a report from the doc every year. I am on SSDI as well. ANYWAY.... every time I see my neurologist he sends a report to my primary care. It's always interesting reading those reports. In the most recent report he said "I have no problem with her being on LDN" and he also said I was slowly increasing my dose. He also stated the improvement in my leg pain since being on LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone). For those who don't remember or for the new members, since 12/05 I have had severe nocturnal

leg pain. I had a nerve conduction and it showed nothing wrong with my legs. When I asked my neuro why my legs hurt so bad if there's nothing wrong with the nerves in my legs he said "it's the MS". I started on Cymbalta in 6/06 and that reduced the pain by 50%. I started LDN in 11/06 and then my leg pain reduced another 40%. My leg pain now is 10% of what it was a year ago. I was Relapsing Remitting, now Secondary Progressive. I just got a new script from my neuro in the mail to increase the LDN to 4.5 mg. I can hardly wait to see what kind of improvements I have then in the pain level. Maybe it will even help with my back pain! Woo-hoo! hugs to all)))Sharon So,like a forgotten fire, a childhood can always flare up again within us. ~Gaston Bachelard
