It is crucial that we act immediately. This bill/vote is scheduled

for April 20th ONLY TEN DAYS AWAY

You may have already heard, the FDA is planning a vote on April 30th,

wherein the will attempt to pass a bill regulating all " natural

remedies " , which according to their documents include vitamins,

herbal remedies & supplements, massage tools including aromatherapy

oils & massage rocks, accupuncture tools, vegetable juices, etc.

This incredibly restrictive bill will dramatically affect everyone !

Limiting the availability of such items as St 's Wort, primrose &

borage oil for PMS, progesterone cream for menopause, heck... even

HERBAL TEAS.

This bill may be passed if we don't address this immediately. The

FDA is quite powerful and may be able to push this through,

ultimately giving more power to the conglomerate pharmaceutical

companies, as they limit our health choices once again.

Lifetime TV is also quite powerful as a media source and provider of

solid information.

Can't you please help inform the public of this imminent bill and

help preserve our rights?

Even just a simple article on your main page with a link to the FDA

site and the bill specs? This would allow women the right to choose

their remedies.

Please help with this !

Information here: www.fda.gov Docket No. 2006D-0480

To contact the FDA and let them know what you think of the proposed

guidelines, be sure to include the docket number (Docket No. 2006D-

0480) with your comments. You can write them at:

Dockets Management Branch (HFA-305)

5630 Fishers Lane, Room 1061

Rockville, MD 20852

Next, you can lodge your complaint against the FDA by commenting on

this docket through the FDA's docket comment form by going to

www.fda.gov. Click on " Comment on Proposed Regulations " (which is

about halfway down the page and a bit to the left). You will see a

box that has a title in it that says E-Comments. Click on the link

that says " Submit Your Comments. " Now you will see a list of proposed

regulations on which you can send a comment. For this issue you want

to click on the word " Go " on the right end of the row for 2006D-0480.

This thing is really buried in there, folks, and not made easy to

find. The regulations are NOT in any kind of numerical order. (At the

time I registered my comment Docket No. 2006D-0480 was somewhere

between 121 and 135 on the list.) If you think this is easier, you

could go directly to the page to submit your comment at:
