I wish they would have interviewed " " (girl with " Down " syndrome), her teachers and her doctors. I'd also like to know if " Angie " was really asked to cease communication with " 20/20 " ... and why. Jeff
Guest guest
Hi Tom and everyone, I have been in this support group for 4 years now, seen and heard lots of things. I do believe that having MS seems to limit the minds ability to see the big picture, to think clearly and make good decisions. I know when I was sick that is how it was for me. I would encourage all of you to try and see beyond your negative views of Mannatech and read between the lines with this latest attack on alternative health care. If you think for one minute that this latest interview on 20/20 has anything to do with Mannatech then you are not seeing the big picture at all. The FDA wants nothing more then to discredit anyone and anything that is interfering with their power and ability to control things. Companies like Mannatech, and there are many others, are paving the way for all alternative medicine. If a company with unprecendented growth, integrity cannot make it then can you imagine how all the other companies will fare. By the way, a company cannot grow this large unless their consumers receive benefits and keep coming back for more, ask Bill Gates about that one. In the last few weeks all the alternative health forums were up in arms regarding the lastest move by the FDA to regulate supplements and take away our right to choose on how we manage our health. Now the same people are excited that a large nutritional company who products have impacted thousands of people is getting slammed by the media?? Wake up folks, this is not about MLM or Mannatech, its about your right to choose. I know most of you have already given up your rights and are quite happy letting the goverment rule you, I for one am not rolling over so easy. Just remember this about all great things: " First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, and then you win. " -Ghandi If anyone want to get educated about the truth of Glyconutrients, or see the full interview un-edited let me know. tbayuk wrote: >And they deserved it....you can do the same for pennies. >Regards, >Tom > > --- > >
Guest guest
Nina, Mannatech is the name of a company who coined the name " Glyconutrients " . They have high quality supplements besides the Glyconutrients but most people don't like them because they sell by direct marketing. I for one love the direct marketing as I get my products free for life. I don't think health food stores are making that offer to anyone, how about your doctor, oh yeah there is free drugs as long as you pay huge health care insurance first. Check out their products here if you want www.mannapages.com/morningsun Nina wrote: >Hey there, Martha! > > I'm just wondering what your email means...? Guest guest
Hi Jeff, If you are an associate of Mannatech you can talk with people every day who have positive results. This is why no negative bashing will ever effect me. I know what changes my body has seen. Click on the link below to hear what a few are saying about the 20/20 report, as you can see these people aren't deceived by the wolf in sheeps clothing. Guest guest
, While I can understand why you would be feeling the need to feel defensive after last night's report on 20/20 about Mannatech, I think it's really hurtful and offensive for you to lash out at the very people you are supposedly on this group to help by calling us mentally incompetent basically. I feel your anger in your posts, try venting it to the FDA. Guest guest
Desinie, Your are right and I am sorry for any hurt feelings. I am passionate about Mannatech about Glyconutrients and about helping others restore their health. I only want others to experience what I have and have to continue to remember that its not that easy to do so in these forums. I do get frustrated when people who support alternative health then bash a company who is desparately trying to teach health and gives hope to so many.We should all be fighting for the same cause but I feel some have lost sight of that. I just feel that people don't know the truth but the media is known for excessive drama and slanting things in favor of high ratings. My only hope is that those that want to hear the truth, will. Guest guest
, I knew as soon as I started watching the 20/20 report on Mannatech that it would be very biased and would be against Mannatech. They most likely wouldn't have even done the story if it were in favor of Mannatech. I am all for going the natural route whenever possible instead of drugs, although I have been on Copaxone almost 8 years. I started my MS journey 15 years ago and am still walking unassisted. Would it still be the same without being on Copaxone? I can't say, but I do think I made the right choice for me. Guest guest
Hi Desinie, Well ABC may have started out looking for a sensational train wreck, thats what brings the ratings. But they were really unable to say anything bad, just trying to make all associates look like money grubbers after dying victims. However its having the opposite affect and people are looking up Ambrotose and getting to learn about it first hand, so thank you ABC. As far as your choices, I am glad you feel they are what is best for you, that is what its all about, choices and being able to decide for ourselves what is best for us. I hope that not only are you walking but living a life of optimal health. What if the alternative docs and supplement industry gained complete power and started to try and take your ability to use drugs away? What if they did a show on Copaxone and showed doctors sitting on the beach sipping coctails after prescribing you the drugs. I am sure they would show all the tortued animals that died to test the drug. They would find as many people as possible that had horrible side effects to the drug. If they found you, they certainly would not let you tell of your positive experience now would they. No and this is what I hope everyone realizes about shows like ABC, they are almost as bad as what they call those reality shows which are not too real at all. For me I know that drugs are always there if I need them, they are my last resort. I certainly would not want them banned, just like I certainly don't think the drug companies should be trying to ban supplements and take my choices away. Take care. Guest guest
Hi ! Your point is well taken. Today's climate of expose reporting is always trying to make the subject of their report as villainous as possible. They only have so much time to report on a subject and trying to be fair and balanced is a lot of work. Trust but verify! Do not rely on some TV talking head to give you the complete truth about anything.
