Hi Everyone, I'm off to NIH tomorrow and I just received an snpther e-mail

from . If you did write to her, thanks, and if you didn't, here are

some of her other concerns that are all too familiar to the rest of us.

Please let her hear from you. Her address is shanlon70@... Thanks,

<< , thank you so much for responding back to me and introducing me to

all

of these similar friends. I got a letter from Levy and added my name

to the newsletter. It's great to hear from someone who knows what I am

going through.

I am from Michigan, and the U of M I talked about is University of Michigan.

I am seeing a doctor who is a researchist in ALS. She has ruled that out

right now and MS.

When you said you get on the floor and can't get up without assistance that

is me. I too can not get up. Are you on any medications right now to help

you. I have already tried Baclufen, it did not help. I am hoping that there

is something for the stiffness. I suffer no pain. I do have leg tremors at

night in my sleep when I am at rest. Not during the day, I am easily to

scared, my reflexes are so sporadic. My speech is slurred and becoming more

and more noticeable.

I think I told you I am a female - 48, married.

Well, thanks agian and hope to hear from you.
