1. How many of you are so light sensitive that you require sunglasses

before you even think about going outside in sunlight? I mean more than the

average person who prefers to wear their sunglasses, do you search for them

and really have to think about it?

Do you wear them whenever you go outside, even in normal (not bright)

daylight?

I should wear them, but I don't. if I am in the sun for any length of time I

get horrible headaches. I usually can't remember where they are, or what I did

with them. So I just go without them.

2. Are your pupils often dilated without reason? Does bright light even

inside bother you? Are your pupils ever irregular, that is one larger than

the other?

Yes my pupils are often dilated for no reason. Bright light inside causes

headaches and a definite disconnectedness, even noticed by my family physician.

My right pupil tends to be dilated more than my left at times.

3. Do you have difficulty looking down with your eyes like reading a paper

for periods of time or looking upwards like to read a sign?

Reading books for a long time, causes the words to actually come off the page

for me. Reading road sign is another great difficulty, which has driven me to

the opthamologist on more than one occasion.

4. DO you have hypersecretion? That is when you yawn or at other times do

your eyes fill with teaars and your nose gets stuffy or may even run with

clear fluid (tears that have made their way down through the connecting

sinus). This can happen in bright light as well.

Yawning leaves my eyes running like a faucet and causes my sinuses to get all

stuffy with clear fluid. Bright lights do this as well.

5. Do y ou see the computer screen flickering or the flickering of the TV

picture more than others? Does this bother you?

I spend all day at the computer, I'm a programmer. It definitely causes eye

problems, not flickering though, burning, eyes watering, and things going blurry

at the least provocation.

6. Any other comments on visual irregularities is welcome.

I also get what seems to be a transluscent white film on my right eye. There is

nothing there, when I look in the mirror, yet I am seeing through it. When

tired or turning head to see, I see double. I also get what appears to be a

blister in my right eye. It usually relolves on it's own after about a day.
