On a relationship list I am on that has both NTs and autistics, a situation came up where I could see this NT woman being misunderstood with what she was trying to say. I wrote her offlist as well as wrote on her behalf on list. I thought we had a good understanding communication wise. But I just got a response from her onlist to something I wrote to one of her posts on the list. She so completely misunderstood what I wrote that it has shaken me. I have not had this happen in a long time. I just got done trying to explain what I *did* mean and now have no idea how she is going to take it. I normally would not write about something like this but this is really bothering. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone!
