I am trying to NOT post... I am learning a lot here tonight. I read

ALL of Jane's snippets, too.

But I could not resist posting this. I see a PATTERN, does anyone

Yes, that does sound ominously familiar. Don't have time to go

through the web site thoroughly now, but I notice that numbers 3, 4,

and 5 of the FAQ contain some good stuff, too (e.g., " Treatment

should not focus on " getting a child to speak " nor should there be

emphasis placed on speaking goals, unless (or until) a child is in

the verbal phase of communication. " " The child should be involved in

the treatment plan and should be allowed control over the steps

taken. " ).
