Thank you for your reply Sohnia. I appreciate your honesty. We live in

Northern Kentucky, so Nashville is a 4 hour drive for us, but of course we'll do

whatever we have to. There is a local helmet a lot closer, but I'm still not

sure

about it all. Both my husband and I have had phone conversations with an

Orthotist at RHS in Nashville and have been very impressed. My instincts are

telling me to follow my gut and go with RHS, but the practical side of me is

saying go local, as it's closer if we need to go for many adjustments.

First we have to FINALLY get a prescription though, and we're not sure if the

neurosurgeon will insist we go locally, or if they will hear us out and let us

go

where we please. The waiting is killing us. Hopefully we'll have a prescription

this coming Wed. and we can proceed with treatment.
