In What lessons are here for me? To become more politically active if ever I can recover enough to do so? That perserverence, though at times exhausting, is necessary if one is to live well? Maybe I just need to go roll around in some of Brezsny's joy for a bit. ;-)

Hope all are well, and thanks,

DL

Hi DL, I wonder if you could get klonipin samples from one doctor or another. I knew a girl who did that. Regarding the Gabitril. That was my second drug. It proved to be very easy to taper off. I made larger cuts than I did on Zyprexa and got away with it. No withdrawal that I could tell. I don't know if it will work that way for you, but we can hope! Maybe my body just didn't notice the gabitril was missing b/c it was so tied up with the deadly insidious drug from hell, Zyprexa. Hugs

Thanks, , for the suggestion. Glad to hear Gabitril was easy for

you to withdraw from. I'm hoping that will be the case here, but will

deal with whatever comes.

Thinking of you as you're making that home run.

Best wishes,

DL

Thanks for the tip, . It's nice to have you back. Hope you

are feeling better.

Would it make any sense to ask for a different type of benzo at this

point? I was never clear about the Ashton info - if a longer-acting

one would help at this point in the game.

Take care,

DL

Hi DL and everyone, It has been about 9 days since my last Zyprexa. I stopped at 1/16 of my original dose. I was already off the gabitril, and even got off my face medicine, Metrogel. There were about 5 days of flu symptoms followed by exhaustion, but today I feel great! Full of energy. So I just want to say thanks so much to everyone for being there for me the past 9 months and also want to say there is hope. Thanks especially to and Kim. Hugs,

Hi , How are things going with you? Are your feet improving any? Are you taking a class? How's your dog? I've been feeling good off and on for a few months. But it is the first time ever in my life to feel good, and I am 44. I think I was so vulnerable to the drugs because I didn't have any idea what feeling good was like. I didn't understand that the side effects were not normal, because I felt so awful before I ever took the drugs. I was so used to just barely surviving. It is only through this list, with 's help that all the pieces of the health puzzle have come together. Supplements, good food, water. The next piece is exercise. My chiro wants me to do tai chi, so I am renting a disc to see if I can learn to do it. Then I'll buy one. Love,

** This is different for everyone. Ashton usually recommends

switching to Valium but some people are less tolerant of Valium than

they are of Klonopin. Do you have any experience with Valium?

[Just a reminder -- the Ashton Manual recommends a reduction scedule

that most find too aggressive. I think it is best to take what is

useful from several sources and leave what is not so useful.]

Hi ,

" Are your feet improving any? "

No, not really, I thought they were, but the last few days the

burning sensation has really been intense. Maybe its because I

havent been able to soak them in the magnesium, but Kim's going to

send some more beads so maybe that will help.

" Are you taking a class? "

I changed my degree from Business studies to English Lit, means I

have to start again but the BUsiness studies was far to stressful.

So I have another 5 yrs before I get a degree now...........but

hopefully I will be less stressed by the end of it.

" How's your dog? "

Perfect!! Not that I am biased at all! LOL

" My chiro wants me to do tai chi, so I am renting a disc to see if I

can learn to do it. Then I'll buy one. "

Go for it , Tai Chi is amazing. Find a good class and go and

watch, if you get a good instructor you won't ever want to stop!

How far away do you and Kim live from each other.........maybe you

can drag Kim to Tai Chi!!! :)

Lots of love to you
