I'm headed home tomorrow if the weather works in our favour. If not

I'll be spending alot of time sitting in airports. I'm not that

concerned about it. I'll get there eventually.

We did make it up to the ranch today to see my step grandma. Her

sister and BIL were still there and they are lovely people. Everyone

else had left. Gma's doing pretty well and things seem to be working

out okay. She has a super nice couple that live on the ranch as work

hands and they are really good about checking on her, cutting wood,

and all sorts of things. As long as they stay there Gma should be

able to stay up on the ranch and manage fine.

What a mess this turned out to be. How three siblings, well one

actually, can cause so much difficulty over so few possessions was

surprising to me. It is doubtful the rift will ever healed. He had

few things of any value but that's what they hovered over like

vultures. My mom wanted a few sentimental items and my older kids

asked if there were some old hats of his or a knife, small personal

momentos they could have if Gma or my mom didn't desire them.

My grandfather was known to be a good judge of character. Looking

back now I think that's why he appointed my mom to be coexecutrix

with his wife. He knew they would be fair, equitable and just. It's

been a learning experience for sure. I am definitely looking forward

to going home and seeing my hubby. Thanks everyone for your
