Guest guest
Hello Carissa, I don't think I welcomed you. So....welcome to the group. I can hear your sadness in your post. I know when my kids were young I felt like I could never catch up and I also felt like they were missing out because of my illness. What I did was confide in a couple of my kids play friends mothers. I was able to set up play dates for them after school. For the younger ones we set up play dates while the older one was in school. Sometimes my child would go over to their house and sometimes they would come to mine. When they came over the mom would stay too. That was good for both my child and me. The kids would play and it gave me contact with an adult! Wow, what a concept! I thought this might help in getting the kids with other kids and it really was a good thing for both of us.
