She has i believe a 24 hour window depending on the amount of fluid loss... .. they will do a ultrasound to check on the amount and stuff while she is in labor.. if she has loss most of it i believe it is a 12 hour window.. might be different with twins. Am sure she has a great doctor and stuff so no worries.. and she has had another baby before so the labor and delivery shouldn't be as long as first time deliveries. I will be praying for all involved... whoo hoo grandma will be holding them babies soon :)

Huggles you lots ;)

I know i'm late with this response but, yes, she needs to get to the hospital. A baby cannot live without fluid. I'm praying for her and you and the family. Good luck and please keep us updated.

DELIVERY SOON!

My son just phoned. has gone into serious labor tonight. The contractions are between 10 and 15 mintutes apart and last just over a minute. She also has amniotic flued leaking quite hard. I told him to get her to the hospital. With the fluid leaking the babies could get infection and its serious for mother. I see alot of the T.V. show "Baby Story" That's where I get my knowledge about birth because both of my sons were cecrian. My stillborn were vaginal, so I know something. She could stay in labor for a long time, but with the fluid leaking it isn't safe I don't think. Maybe there's some more knowledgable ladies in that department.

Keep your fingers crossed and keep those prayers coming.

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.
