Ok we got 's dignosis at children hospital in Philly - the dr there

knows her stuff even if she had no sensativity training. All the testing

around here or experimental whatever is done at children's. I asked about

additional testing and all she would recommend if testing for Fragile X

syndrome. She wouldn't recomend any mercury or yeast testing. I also asked

's ped. and she would not disagree with the other dr so I'm assuming

that she doesn't know anything about autism at all and is following the other

drs lead.

So here is the question - There is a DAN dr in Washington Crossing about half

hr away. If had mercury posisioning or anything like that would she

necessarily show other symptoms like digestive problems? It's not about the

money (although $380 is more than I make in two weeks) I just want to make

sure that I'm not getting my hopes up again for some answers that I'm not

going to get. His assistant that answers the phone says he spends 3 hours

with us and does blood and urine testing. Has anyone gone to a DAN doctor

and what can you tell me about it? Also this dr does phone consults for a

couple minutes between 4-5 pm should I ask him if he thinks these tests will

help my little girl?

Sorry to talk so much but I've read and read and read and can't find anything

in the library about mercury posioning (even though I don't think has

this but I'd like to ease my mind about it).

thank you all in advance.
