Guest guest
I just started T3 about a month ago, after a year of unsuccessful Armour attempts due to unknown high RT3. My temps have been stable for a long time and my blood pressure rises upon standing. I take 16 pellets Isocort split 3 times/day. 7AM, 12PM, 5PM. I know most people take adrenal support every 3-4 hours, but I experience no low cortisol symptoms taking it 5 hours apart. My cortisol is below range during the day and high at night, which is why I don't take a bedtime Isocort dose. Sometimes I try a bedtime dose just to see what happens, and I always sleep worse. I'm using Ti-Tre, which comes in 20mg tabs. So I started with 10mg in the morning and have been adding 10mg/week. So it was 10mg at 7AM, 10mg at 12PM, and 10mg at 5PM, at the same time as my Isocort. Here's the thing... I just started adding a bedtime 10mg dose a few days ago, and it made things worse. I slept much worse, and it gave me a patch of dry skin on my left cheek which won't go away. I thought that maybe the T3 was causing low cortisol at night, so I tried a bedtime Isocort dose last night, but it made things even worse. So I don't think it's a cortisol issue. Does anybody have any idea why this might be? I take the T3 30 minutes after melatonin, right as I'm getting sleepy. Has anybody else had issues with bedtime T3 doses? And if you did, did you just stick with daytime doses and come out okay? -Jung
