I'm not sure about the first part of your email so I didn't copy and paste

it. For the first part of what I pasted, I'd say it's probably neuroflexion

and distal sensory.

correctable would be correct.

there's no such thing as q.h.f, it would be q.h.s.

Hope this helps, and hopefully someone else can help with the rest of your

questions :)

Kat, I am not at all sure about the first one, couldn't find anything under

-Flag syndrome and Nuropex does not sound right. As I asked before,

could you please give us more information than just the one sentence. Is this

whole e-mail on one patient? That information would be helpful. Also, it would

help me, if you would just give the sentence, putting s/l in front of what you

think the word sounds like rather than giving the sounds-like first and then the

sentence. Just a suggestion that would help me, don't know about anyone else.

Now on to some of the ones I can answer. " We performed and EMG (rather than

ENG) and nerve conduction study...showing a mild distal sensorimotor mixed

polyneuropathy. " Laboratory work-up for correctable would be correct. Also it

is q.h.s., meaning literally at the hour of sleep or at bedtime. Margaret

I have come across a few neurology terms that I'm having trouble with

as well:

A drug: Sounds like: Nuropex

Sounds like: Flag Syndrome. (As in the sentence: In the past

we tried Nuropex for the possibility of Flag Syndrome.)

Sounds like: neuro flexion and distocentury motor mixed (As in the

sentence: We performed an ENG and neuro flexion study in October of

last year showing a mild distocentury motor mixed polyneuropathy.)

Sounds like: correctable or collectable (As in the sentence:

Laboratory work-up for correctable or collectable causes of

neuropathy returned negative last fall.

Instructions for medications: p.o. q.h.(s. or f.)? Is there such a

thing as f? I think she's saying s, but I can't tell.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think you've received answers to everything but this one, which I believe is

probably Mirapex.
