Guest guest
I received this at work today and my personal email account has had some return mail saying I sent out a virus. I think maybe someone with my name in their address book actually has the virus and not me because I haven't received any files or emails like those listed below. So, if you recieve a file from me don't open it - I haven't sent anything : ) Just wanted to warn everybody. This came from my corporate IT department so I know it's valid. They have also had all of us update our virus protection files. URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL PC USERS DO NOT OPEN E-Mail attachments that you are not expecting, especially with the file types of .pif, .scr, .exe, .cmd, .bat, or .zip. The subject line of the e-mail will likely be: -test -hi -hello -Mail Delivery System -Mail Transaction Failed -Server Report -Status -Error A new worm named either W32.Novarg.A@mm or Win32.Mydoom.A has been discovered on the Internet and it appears that it's already inside DuPont. This worm spreads via E-Mail attachments with the file types listed above. If you receive one of these messages, simply delete it. You may get the message multiple times from different addresses. More information on this virus can be found at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.novarg.amm (DOT) html
