Guest guest
I've read where some people say to give two weeks between cleanses. Some people think that's to recover from using the Epsom salts and some people think it's just because it is draining and others seem to think that it takes time for the stones to move in order to be flushed out. Well, I've decided that since I don't use Epsom salts and I don't find it draining, I'm going to do another cleanse with just a week since the last one, just to see what difference it makes. I'm in the middle of a bowel cleanse right now, too, and first I thought that was a reason to wait for the gallbladder cleanse. But then I thought about all that gets dumped out of the liver/gallbladder into the intestines. Since part of the bowel cleanse is designed to move things out, then it would seem that this is actually a good time to do it. So anyway, I just wanted to share the plan and I'll let you know how it goes! in health,
Guest guest
Thanks, Susie, for your response. Have you experienced this type of irritation? (I can't recall if it was you who wrote about that). I can see how healthy eating would help kill any potential infection. I think juicing would go a long way for that as well. And yes, I can see if someone is using Epsom Salts that would add another whole element to the time frame between cleanses. Drinking juices, especially carrot juice (from what I've read) is great for helping to restore that electrolyte balance. Personally I really liked doing the cleanse without the E.S. so that's what I will do again this time. I appreciate the feedback! Guest guest
Wow, thanks for that information. That sounds like an incredible program!! I will definitely check out the bookmarks for that link. I've also requested his catalog, which I understand to have a lot more information in it also. But not on every cleanse. I need to do #12 here any day but hubby and I both have a viral thing. I don't know if you'd actually call it a cold. If I did the cleanse right now, I'd probably cough those stones out. Right now, I'm busy adding more fresh garlic to my system to get over this mess. As for juices, yes, I used to have carrot/celery/apple or garlic every single morning. I still do it about 3 times a week now. My husband bought another juicer for my b-day back in March which does leaves and stuff. I really don't have a place to put it and it's extremely heavy. It's a Champion. I have to figure out some place for it to normally sit. I have another juicer, but it doesn't do leaves. I want to be interchanging my juices. For well over a year, every single morning, I had the carrot juice that I mentioned earlier. I just feel that NOW I need a switch from just carrot all the time. And yes, many say do space these cleanses for your well-being. It's up to the person, though, and I suppose how comfortable they feel about having them too close together. Even Dr. Cabot says space them, but she's not the only one to say this and she's very, very knowledgeable. Susie
Guest guest
Hello , I'm not sure either. It wasn't a violent enough reaction to quit the cleanse halfway, although I considered doing so. Something Susie said in one of her posts reminded me that maybe it caused an electolyte imbalance, and that I need to be sure that I get all the nutrients I need inbetween cleanses. I remembered too, that one reason I chose the epsom cleanse was because Dr. said the stones would pass painlessly...which they did! I'm assuming yours did as well, so I'm going to look into the other kinds of cleanses. Guest guest
Thanks, as always, for helpful information, Dale. I had only thought about the flexibility of the stones - not the potential elasticity of the bile duct! That's a very good point about the obvious elasticity of other areas, too. I guess it's the old image of 'stones' as something hard and heavy that would seem to cause irritation on their way out. I'm very thankful that's not been the case!
