He smoked... still does doesn't care enough about us to quit. We don't get an appointment with the neurologist until Feb 20th so he won't even try. I can't do it myself. Things are so bad between us what happened? He adored me thought I was the best thing in his life... now he barely talks to me. Was it the stroke? Is it ? Does he blame me? It always seems like I'm suppose to make all lthe decisions and then he'll make me feel they are the wrong ones. I made the appointment with a DAN dr in Washington Crossing. the guy has been there for 30 years so he's got to be doing something right... but you walk in the office and it looks like a GNC. Am I reaching for something that isn't going to help?

Strokes affect a lot more than just a side of the body. Depression comes often with a stroke. Hi . I'm Kandie, mom to my 9 year old autistic son. I had a stroke just about a month ago! I was hospitalized for 4 or 5 days and then I came home to recover. My right side of my body was afffected. I used a walker in the beginning but now I just limp very slightly on my right leg. My right hand is doing great too, but my writing has too come quite a bit farther. ha ha! I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself--I've been very quiet since my hospitalization but usually I'm pretty active on the list.
