Guest guest
The only abnormality we can find is moderate ___________(s/l vocalis seniles). The options of fat injection into the cords, which would require a general anesthesia, versus a ____________(s/l Yoshiki-type) thyroplasty under intravenous sedation were reviewed with the patient. I cannot document a vocalis seniles nonreactive the Yoshiki thyroplasty. Any ideas? Bev W.

Guest guest
Found in Vera Pyle's CMT: Isshiki thyroplasty type I (ITTI)—a procedure to treat unilateral vocal cord paralysis. It uses a Silastic implant placed in a window of the thyroid ala between the inner and outer perichondrium causing lateral compression of the vocal cord. Maybe that's what you're looking for? Any ENT transcriptionists out there - I need help on this one. > The only abnormality we can find is moderate ___________(s/l vocalis > seniles).
